Before you write
Answers to the usual first questions
Do you charge for the first call?
No. The first 30 minutes is free, and I will give you a real opinion in it — including telling you if the thing you are planning is more expensive than it needs to be, or if you do not need me at all.
How do you handle payment?
For fixed-price projects: 50% up front, 50% on completion, with larger builds split into milestones. Hourly work is invoiced every two weeks. Retainers are billed monthly in advance. I work through Upwork if you prefer the escrow protection, or direct via bank transfer, Wise or Payoneer.
Who owns the code?
You do, in full, once the final invoice is paid. Custom code, design files, repositories, credentials — all of it transfers to you. No licence fees, no hostage situations.
Can you sign an NDA?
Yes. Send yours over and I will sign it before we discuss anything specific. I also work under agency NDAs and non-solicitation agreements as standard.
How quickly can you start?
It depends on current commitments, but typically within one to two weeks for a new project, and sooner for small fixes or urgent problems. If a site is actually down or compromised, say so in the subject and I will prioritise it.
