About me

I'm Shusanto. I've been building things on the web since 2019.

Freelancer first, then full-time with a US agency, now also running my own product. Three very different vantage points on the same job — and all three shape how I work with you.

The short version

I'm a full-stack web developer based in Gaibandha, Bangladesh. I build web applications, SaaS products, APIs and websites with PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, Vue.js and MySQL — and I have deep, unfashionable expertise in WordPress.

I started on Upwork in 2019 and spent five years there: 50+ clients, 55 jobs, 3,230+ logged hours on hourly contracts plus a long list of fixed-price work, finishing with a 100% Job Success Score.

In 2024 I went full time with Cloud Nine Web Design, a web agency in Morris, Illinois. For two and a half years I built new sites, wrote custom plugins and web applications, and helped manage a portfolio of 150+ live WordPress sites — development, redesigns, troubleshooting, performance and a constant queue of client requests.

In 2026 I launched Tuli Builder, an AI-powered WordPress website builder. I own the whole stack: application architecture, AI integrations, billing and licensing, SaaS infrastructure, support. It is live with paying customers.

Where I've been

2026 — Present

Founder & Owner — Tuli Builder

Own product · tulibuilder.com

Built an AI-powered WordPress website builder that turns a prompt into real, editable pages, templates and headers and footers — clean HTML and CSS instead of bloated page-builder markup. I handle product, design, development, infrastructure and support end to end. Live with paying customers.

2024 — 2026

Senior WordPress Developer & ADA Compliance Specialist

Cloud Nine Web Design · Morris, Illinois, USA

Two and a half years full time with a US agency. Built new WordPress websites, developed custom plugins and web applications, and helped manage and maintain a portfolio of 150+ live WordPress sites — updates, security, performance, redesigns, troubleshooting and the daily client request queue. Accessibility became a specialism: WCAG 2.1 AA audits and source-level remediation for US clients.

2019 — 2024

Freelance WordPress & Full-Stack Developer

Upwork · Clients worldwide, mostly US

Five years freelancing with 50+ clients: custom WordPress sites, themes and plugins, WooCommerce solutions, API integrations and advanced page-builder work. 3,230+ hours across 55 jobs on hourly contracts, plus a long run of fixed-price projects, finishing with a 100% Job Success Score.

Education

Bachelor of Arts, Philosophy

Carmichael College, Rangpur

Not a computer science degree — and I have never found that to be the thing that mattered. Philosophy taught me to take an argument apart and find the assumption nobody stated, which turns out to be most of debugging and nearly all of scoping.

How I work

Five things I believe about this job

01

Boring is usually right

On a site a business depends on, the clever solution is normally the wrong one. I reach for the well-trodden option and save the originality for the part of the project that is actually original.

02

Scope honestly, early

Telling you a job is twenty hours rather than five, before we start, costs me a little and saves us both a lot. Nobody has ever been pleased by a surprise invoice.

03

Write it down

Maintaining 150 sites taught me that the version of you from three months ago is a stranger. Every project ends with a handover document, whether anyone asked for one or not.

04

Accessibility is not an add-on

It is cheaper to build it in than to retrofit it, it is better for every user, and in the US it is a legal exposure most business owners have not thought about yet.

05

Communication is the deliverable

Most of my working day with the agency was written updates, not code. Clients do not experience your architecture — they experience whether they know what is going on.
